Job Description: DAX Technologies - Business Analyst & Requirements Engineering

DAX Technologies is an exciting software startup, providing innovative solutions for the telecommunications industry. With a friendly, informal culture, and substantial growth opportunities, DAX provides an ideal environment for talented software performance engineers. The position is located in Matawan NJ at the company's headquarters. The person working this position will be responsible to work with customers and technology vendors to define features and functionalities to be implemented in the DAX systems. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with customers to identify their business needs and translate those needs in to DAX product enhancement specifications
  • Define and document system requirements for new features and products.
  • Review major network equipment vendor documentation and analyze and document the impact on DAX products.
  • Work with the development team to communicate product requirements and create product demos and prototypes.
  • Review competitive products and provide analysis for the sales team.
  • Support the sales team with technical presentations and in depth technical customer questions
  • Work with customers to determine network deployment requirements and identify up-scope opportunities for customization.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years experience working as a business analyst or requirements/systems engineer
  • Experience with major vendor wireless network equipment
  • Experience with Operations Support Software (OSS)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to multitask
  • Good communications skills
  • Self-starter
  • Independent thinker, but good team player

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
